Seeking a full time BE/BC Ophthalmologist, who is committed to helping us achieve our vision. Interested parties must be ready to embrace a healthy mix of significant ocular pathology, various types of ocular surgery and primary eye care. Group consists of three ophthalmologists (2 general and one glaucoma specialist) and five optometrists engaged in delivering Critical Eye Care to a burgeoning population with varied pathology. This is a position for a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist or a Sub-Specialist. Most surgery is performed in a local, physician owned, multi-specialty ASC.
Abingdon, Virginia is located on the high Appalachian plateau midway between Roanoke, Virginia and Knoxville, Tennessee. Surrounded by mountains covered with hardwood forests and 20 minutes from a large TVA lake, the area is home to the best combination of hiking, fishing, biking, camping, hunting, and water sports on the East Coast.
