Full-time BC/BE Ophthalmologist to join a busy and established private practice. The incoming candidate will be joining a team of two ophthalmologists (one will be retiring) and five Optometrists. This practice is committed to providing outstanding patient care with an appropriate balance between work and family. The ideal candidate is a progressive, general Ophthalmologist who has an interest in cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive and would be interested in a buy-in opportunity to the practice. First-year salary guarantee.

Their state-of-the-art surgery center includes:

  • Newly renovated in 2021
  • 3 pre-op bays, 2 post-op bays
  • Large central nurses’ station and large staff breakroom
  • 1 minor procedure room, which houses the Lens-x laser
  • 1 OR includes 2 separate beds for Opthalmology
  • AMO WaveScan WaveFront System, Intralase iFS Advanced Femtosecond Laser, and Visx Star S4 IR Excimer Laser (LASIK)
  • Alcon LenSx Femtosecond Laser and ORA (Cataracts)
  • SLT Laser and MIGS Stents (Glaucoma)
  • Alcon Verisye and Visian Phakic IOL

  • Treat 40 – 45 patients per day in clinic
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00

  • Base salary of $475,000
  • $105,000 Sign-on bonus
  • $10,000 relocations
