- Other Details: A high-priority, part-time Radiation Oncology opportunity starting June 2, 2025, with coverage needed through December due to a turnover vacancy. The position requires an active Illinois medical license, DEA, CSR license, BLS certification, and at least one year of experience. The provider will work solo covering the clinic Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends, holidays, or call required. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, simulation, dosimetry treatment planning, radiation therapy prescription, weekly assessments, post-treatment follow-up, and daily image checks for treatment verification. The facility averages 25–30 patients under treatment daily and handles external beam treatments, OTVs, and follow-ups. Providers must supervise procedures for compliance and manage consults and follow-ups.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations, simulations, and dosimetry treatment planning
- Prescribe radiation therapy and conduct weekly assessments of patients under treatment
- Perform post-treatment follow-ups and consults
- Supervise on-site procedures for compliance, including checking SRSs and on-treatment visits
- Review daily images to verify treatment alignment and accuracy
Qualifications
- Active Illinois medical license (required to apply)
- DEA and Illinois CSR license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiation Oncology
- Clean professional history preferred for temporary privileges
Working Hours
- No call, weekends, or holidays required
- Estimated 20 shifts per month
- Coverage needed from June to December 2025
- Credentialing time: approximately 90 days
Skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR for charting
- Skilled in patient consults, follow-ups, and on-treatment evaluations (OTVs)
- Ability to work independently and manage a patient load of 25–30 individuals per day
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
