- Other Details: A Radiation Oncologist (MD or DO) is needed for high-priority, part-time locum coverage at Illinois, with dates required from August 26–29, 2025 and October 13–17, 2025, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (no weekends or call). The facility is a comprehensive, full-service outpatient cancer center offering radiation oncology, chemotherapy, and outpatient visits. The physician will provide full-spectrum oncology care, focusing on actively treated and follow-up patients while a current provider is on medical leave. The candidate must have at least one year of experience, along with ACLS certification and a valid CSR and DEA. This solo role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary oncology team, reviewing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring high-quality, continuous care during the provider’s absence.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure continuity and quality of care during the primary provider’s medical leave
- Review treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with medical and radiation oncology team members
- Deliver full-spectrum oncology care in an outpatient setting
Qualifications
- Board certified in Radiation Oncology
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation oncology
- Valid DEA license and Illinois CSR license
- ACLS certification required
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- No weekends or on-call duties
- Estimated 7 shifts per month
- 8-hour day shifts
