Schedule & Coverage:
- Start Date: March 2025 – Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Call Schedule: 24-hour shared call (1:2 ratio) with one other physician
Practice Details:
- Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
- Trauma Level: II
- Reason for Coverage: Physician Turnover
- Current Team: 2 Radiation Oncologists & 1 NP for clinic support
- Other Radiation Oncologist Present During Coverage: Yes
Patient Volume:
- Outpatient (Clinic/Office): 10-15 patients/day
- Inpatient (Call/Rounding): None
- Patient Population: Adult & Hospital-Based
Documentation System/EMR:
- Aria & Epic
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Med Staff will credential by start date; Payer enrollment ~120 days
Required Procedures:
- Conventional Radiotherapy
- 3D Radiotherapy
- External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT)
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery
- Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
- Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ordering Tests & Imaging
- Prescribing Treatments
- Providing Expert Radiation Oncology Care
Reimbursement & Travel Coverage:
- Flight, Hotel, and Rental Car Covered
- Mileage Reimbursed at IRS Standard Rate
- Flexible Travel Policy for Approved Travel
