Schedule & Coverage:

  • Start Date: March 2025 – Ongoing
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Call Schedule: 24-hour shared call (1:2 ratio) with one other physician

Practice Details:

  • Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
  • Trauma Level: II
  • Reason for Coverage: Physician Turnover
  • Current Team: 2 Radiation Oncologists & 1 NP for clinic support
  • Other Radiation Oncologist Present During Coverage: Yes

Patient Volume:

  • Outpatient (Clinic/Office): 10-15 patients/day
  • Inpatient (Call/Rounding): None
  • Patient Population: Adult & Hospital-Based

Documentation System/EMR:

  • Aria & Epic
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Med Staff will credential by start date; Payer enrollment ~120 days

Required Procedures:

  • Conventional Radiotherapy
  • 3D Radiotherapy
  • External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT)
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery
  • Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
  • Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ordering Tests & Imaging
  • Prescribing Treatments
  • Providing Expert Radiation Oncology Care

Reimbursement & Travel Coverage:

  • Flight, Hotel, and Rental Car Covered
  • Mileage Reimbursed at IRS Standard Rate
  • Flexible Travel Policy for Approved Travel
