We have re-opened a Radiation Oncologist locum physician need for Hospital in, Peoria, IL. - $425 Hourly

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p weekly, possible call depending on dates confirmed, pending credentialing and payer enrollment.

• 5/19/2025-5/23/2025 – clinic (CALL NOT NEEDED)
• 5/26/2025-5/30/2025 – clinic (CALL NOT NEEDED)
• 6/23/2025-6/27/2025 – clinic (CALL NOT NEEDED)
• 8/4/2025-8/8/2025 – clinic & call (no docs scheduled for this week currently)
• 12/8/2025-12/12/2025 – clinic & call (no docs scheduled for this week currently)
• 12/22/2025-1/4/2026 – clinic & call (no docs scheduled for this week currently)

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Active Board Certification or Board Eligible withing 5 years of residency: Required
2. Active IL License ONLY– Required
3. Active IL DEA/CSR: Required
4. Availability for specific days per request - Required
5. Two references, per process – Required
6. Clean Malpractice – Required
7. COVID - Required

Position Description:

-Number of Physicians/APPs in Department: 1 physician
-Patient Population Mix (% of Peds, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatrics, Medicare, Medicaid, other): 100% 18+
-Average Number of Cases per day (patients, Inpatients, follow-ups, etc.): Average of 20-30 patients on treatment daily
-Description of support staff: 2 RNs, 5 radiation therapists, 1 dosimetrist, 1 physicist, 2 front desk team members, 1 physician
- Procedures Required (types of procedures to be performed by locum tenens provider):- 3D treatment, IMRT, SBRT/SRS treatments, Simulations, Consults, follow-ups, OTVs
-Reason for the Locum Need: Locum coverage needed while working to hire full-time provider
-Processing time for privilege application: Once the application is received, 90 days for full privileges and Payer Enrollment completion. Once the file is 100% complete, must go to committee meetings.
-Number of beds: 310
-Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
-EMR System: EPIC
