Radiation Oncologist (Locum) – Grand Island, NE
Seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for locum tenens coverage in Grand Island, NE. This temporary position covers specific dates in May 2025 to support a provider on vacation.
Position Details:
- Location: Grand Island, NE 68803
- Setting: Clinic
- Shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Dates Needed:
- May 5 – May 9
- May 22 – May 23
- May 27
- EMR: EPIC, Mosaiq
- Support Staff: 1 APP, 2 therapists, 2 nurses, 1 nurse navigator, 1 dosimetrist, outreach coordinator, tumor registrars, social worker, supervisor
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: Up to $260/hr
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Oncology
- Active Nebraska License (IMLC candidates considered)
- ACLS & DEA Certification
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Patient Load & Equipment:
- 20 patients per day (60% adult, 40% geriatric)
- Follow-ups per week: 5-10
- New consults per week: 3-9
- Equipment: Varian TrueBeam
- Treatment Planning System: Eclipse & Mosaiq
