St. Joseph/Candler Health System is seeking a BC Radiation Oncologist in the coastal communities of Bluffton and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Our radiation oncology cancer program is accredited by the American College of Radiology, which is reflective of the commitment to provide the finest in cancer care to our patients. The Department of radiation oncology provides a full range of radiation oncology services including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, Rapid Arc, Hyperarc, 3D Conformal, Radiotherapy, 4DCT, Cyberknife and Brachytherapy.

Equipment includes:

  • Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators with hyperarc capabilities
  • 6 Degrees of Freedom Couch
  • Varisource HDR
  • Somotom Confidence Wide Bore CT Simulator with Varian RPM Gating
  • Eclipse RTP system with velocity

We have an experienced radiation oncology staff and a strong referral base.

The radiation oncology South Carolina department is staffed with 6 radiation therapists, a medical physicist, a medical dosimetrist, RN and LPN, Nurse Practitioner, social worker, patient nurse navigator, dietician, administrative support staff, and oncology director.
