Submission Requirements

  • Board Certified - REQUIRED
  • Active OH license & DEA - HIGHLY Preferred, willing to consider IMLC
  • BLS - REQUIRED
  • Flu Vaccine - REQUIRED at time of credentialing
  • COVID Vaccine - Preferred
  • Preference to candidates available for ALL listed dates

Job Responsibilities

The Radiation Oncologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer patients using radiation therapy. This includes developing individualized treatment plans, supervising radiation treatment delivery, monitoring treatment progress, and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of radiation therapy. The Radiation Oncologist works closely with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care. This role also involves patient counseling and educating patients about their diagnosis, treatment options, and potential side effects.
