Medical Center is looking for a BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to serve as Medical Director of a system-wide cancer care network in central Tennessee.

About the Opportunity:

  • The Department of Radiation Oncology provides a full range of radiation oncology services including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, 3D conformal radiotherapy, VMAT, CT simulation
  • Employment by professional corporation of radiation oncologists with the potential for partnership
  • Radiation volumes average 15-20 treatments per day
  • Potential for a four-day work week
  • Program has a strong diverse referral base from the local medical community, and we have an experienced radiation oncology staff
  • The department is staffed with three radiation therapists, a medical physicist, a medical dosimetrist, clinic RN, social worker, two administrative support staff, patient navigator and oncology director
  • Our providers have access to a proton facility and Gamma Knife facility as part of the network

Equipment/Staffing includes:

  • Brand new Eletka Versa HD linear accelerator
  • In-department CT simulation
  • Eclipse RTP system with Velocity
  • System wide shared PACS/EMR/Eclipse/Velocity with a network of radiation oncologists that participate in weekly chart rounds and case review
  • In-house/in person full time dosimetry and physics support
