James H. Quillen VA Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncologist. Join a team that recently attained accreditation from the American Society for Radiation Oncology APEx — Accreditation Program for Excellence. As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will contribute to the well-being of our veterans through cutting-edge cancer treatment.

Opportunity details:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm with light call.
  • Current equipment includes 2 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, Phillips 4D scanner, Velocity and Eclipse treatment planning software.
  • Treatment methods include IMRT, SBRT, VMAT
  • Common treatment sites include a robust liver program, prostate, head & neck, as well as lung
  • Staffing includes on site advanced nurse practitioner, nursing, radiation therapists, dosimetrist, and physicist.
  • Weekly general tumor board and biweekly GI tumor conference
