We are seeking a Locums or Locums to Perm Radiation Oncology Physician to join our team in Springfield, MA. This position involves working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role also includes 48-hour weekend call every other weekend, from 8:00 AM Saturday to 8:00 AM Monday.
In this role, you will manage an average of 25 outpatient clinic patients per day. For inpatient care, you may handle variable numbers, averaging about 1 patient per week during call or rounding. The patient population includes adults in both office/clinic settings and hospital-based environments.
The documentation system utilized includes Meditech and Mosaiq.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology.
- An active Massachusetts medical license is required or must be in process, along with an active DEA and Massachusetts controlled substance license.
- Experience with radiation techniques such as 3D conformal, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS is essential. Brachytherapy is not required for this role. Familiarity with software such as Pinnacle, Velocity, Mosaiq, and Epic is preferred but not mandatory.
