We are seeking a Locums Radiation Oncology Physician to provide short-term coverage in Corpus Christi, TX, from December 23rd to December 27th, 2024. The physician will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients and ensuring high-quality care throughout the coverage period. The facility is well-equipped, and the role involves working alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities include overseeing radiation therapy treatments, collaborating with oncologists, surgeons, and healthcare staff to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, and monitoring and adjusting treatment plans based on patient needs. The physician will also provide consultations and follow-up care for patients receiving radiation treatment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and radiation regulations.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification in Radiation Oncology – Required
  • Active Texas medical license – Required
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience with various radiation oncology procedures and treatment plans.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
