Opening for Radiation Oncologist in MI Opportunity in Battle Creek, MI Lansing 50m Full Time Permanent Position Seeking BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to join team in Battle Creek, Michigan Overview: - Candidate will join 1 other Radiation Oncologist who is also the clinical director for regional cancer program, 3 Medical Oncologists/Hematologists, 1 advanced practice provider, and multiple other clinical staff providing nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutritional support, and palliative care - Excellent referral base and support from the medical oncology team onsite - Hospital-employed, mainly outpatient position - Working M-F, 8 am to 5 pm, with call shared equally with the other physicians on the team - Candidate should be proficient in IGRT, IMRT, SRS, SBRT, HDR brachytherapy, and radioisotope therapy. - Practice has two Varian Linear accelerators and boasts a GE simulator. Aria and EPIC are utilized as the official EMR - Member of the Michigan Cancer Consortium a combined effort of health care organizations in Michigan providing patients access to national cancer studies while remaining in their own communities - Multiple tumor boards are held on a regular basis, including breast, thoracic, cardio-oncology, gyn and Gu, and skin/melanoma - Full range of care from prevention to detection and treatment - Multiple venues are available to support clinical research in the community setting Benefits and compensation: - Signing bonus - Loan Reimbursement - Malpractice Coverage - Retirement Benefits - CME stipend - Generous PTO About the area: Discover the Vibrant Spirit of Battle Creek, Michigan!
