Coverage Needed

  • October 2024 - Summer 2025

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday
    • 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • 48 Hour Weekend Call: every other week, 8am Sat - 8am Mon

Clinical Details

  • Will need to document accurately and promptly in the EMR
  • Will be asked to see both inpatient and outpatient consults, do treatment planning, see weekly on-treatment visits and follow up patients
  • Will participate in weekly Tumor Boards
  • Number of Physicians in Practice: 2
  • Other Radiation Oncologists will be present
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day - Outpatient (Clinic/Office) : 25
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day - Inpatient (Call/Rounding) : variable 1 per week
  • Patient Population: Adult, Office/Clinic, Hospital Based

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Active MA License is required or pending (in process)
  • Active DEA and Massachusetts controlled substance license
  • Experience with following radiation techniques: 3D conformal, IMRT, SBRT and SRS (No brachy needed)
  • Experience with following software is preferred but not required: Pinnacle, Velocity, Mosaiq and Epic
  • Must be local
  • Required Procedures: Conventional Radiotherapy, 3D Radiotherapy, 3D conformal, IMRT, SBRT and SRS (No brachy needed), External Beam Radiation - 3D-CRT, External Beam Radiation - IGRT, External Beam Radiation - IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
  • Required Duties: Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes

Support Staff

  • 1 APP will provide coverage

  • Meditech/ mosaiq
