Radiation Oncology opening in MI Located in Kalamazoo, Michigan Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join cancer team. - Candidate will join 1 other Radiation Oncologist who is also the clinical director for the cancer program, 3 Medical Oncologists/Hematologists, 1 advanced practice provider, and multiple other clinical staff providing nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutritional support, and palliative care - Excellent Referral base and support from the medical oncology team onsite - This is a hospital-employed, mainly outpatient position - Working M-F, 8am to 5pm, with call shared equally with the other physicians in the team - Candidate should be proficient in IGRT, IMRT, SRS, SBRT, HDR brachytherapy and radioisotope therapy. Practice has two Varian Linear accelerators and boasts a GE simulator. Aria and EPIC are utilized as the official Bronson EMR. - Member of the Michigan Cancer Consortium a combined effort of health care organizations in Michigan providing patients access to national cancer studies while remaining in their own communities - Multiple Venues are available to support clinical research in the community setting Location: Located halfway between Chicago and Detroit, the area offers diverse cultural opportunities, affordable real estate, a major focus on education, and a variety of year-round family attractions, events, and festivals.
