Physician-Scientist & Research Faculty Position
The Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center (SKCC) at Jefferson Health in Philadelphia, PA is excited to announce a new physician-scientist and research faculty positions. The Department of Radiation Oncology is interested in investigators (MD, DO, MD/PhD) with clinical and/or research expertise in the following areas:
- Immuno-oncology
- Cancer Informatics
- Geriatric Oncology
- Cancer Genetics and Epigenetics
- Radiation Biology
- Radiotheranostics
Ideal candidates will be wet laboratory-based or translational investigators and must demonstrate the ability to develop an independent research program. The candidate will be provided with protected time for research and mentoring in an environment that encourages collaborative team science. Preference will be given to investigators focused on SKCC priorities including lung cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, melanoma, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, and hematologic malignancies.
SKCC at Jefferson Health is an NCI-designated consortium cancer center that includes researchers from Thomas Jefferson University and Drexel University. The SKCC has a large regional footprint with multiple interconnected advanced care hubs. Existing resources include large patient volumes in all priority cancers, clinically-annotated biorepositories, a centralized IRB, and a single electronic health record system across all sites.
We are recruiting for multiple positions both at the early-stage investigator and established/funded investigators.
