Radiation Oncology opening in New York Located in Cooperstown, NY Full-Time & Permanent A progressive, academic health system in central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our staff. - The ideal candidate will work as an important member of a multidisciplinary team to provide patient oriented care. There is a treatment facility at the main campus in Cooperstown and a second satellite facility in Oneonta, NY is 30 minutes away. - This position will be primarily based out of Oneonta, NY and travel will be required for coverage in Cooperstown. Future regional travel may include Cobleskill and Herkimer. Details: - Full spectrum of radiation oncology services include: IMRT, IGRT, 3D conformal therapy, SRS, SBRT, SGRT, low dose and high dose rate brachytherapy, respiratory gating, and radiopharmaceuticals - Equipment at Cooperstown Campus: Varian TruBeam, Phillips Big Bore 16-slice CT simulator, Bravos multichannel HDR afterloader, Eclipse planning system and ARIA electronic record and dosimetry services - Equipment in Oneonta: Varian 23ix and dosimetry services - Group employed model with competitive salary - Sign-on bonus up to $100,000 Job Qualifications: - MD, DO or MBBS - Board Eligible or Board Certified - NYS Licensure - BLS Certification Required - DEA Required Benefits: - Medical, dental and vision insurance - Paid time off, including vacations and holidays - Life insurance and disability protection - Paid malpractice - Retirement plan - CME time and money - Moving allowance Location: Enjoy an outstanding quality of life in central NYS located south of the Adirondack Mountains and north of the Catskills.
