Radiation Oncology Locum Tenens in Poplar Bluff
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Oncology Locum to join our team at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. This exciting opportunity offers an hourly rate of $170 and involves providing outpatient radiation oncology services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: You will be responsible for managing 15-18 patients per shift, ensuring their well-being and providing high-quality radiation treatments.
- Full Support Staff: You will work alongside a competent and supportive team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Treatment Modalities: Proficiency in IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy), SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy), and IGRT (Image-Guided Radiation Therapy) is required.
- Practice Location: The position is based at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, where you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources.
- Duration: The locum assignment is scheduled from December 25, 2023, to January 6, 2024, with additional coverage for vacation as needed.
- Weekday Call: There is no weekday call requirement for this position.
- Weekend Coverage: There is no onsite or call coverage required during weekends.
- Schedule: The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life schedule.
- EMR System: The facility utilizes the Aria EMR system, ensuring efficient and streamlined documentation and patient management.
- Equipment: You will have access to a Linier Accelerator, specifically the Truebeam system, and other advanced equipment to deliver precise radiation treatments.
- Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology.
- Credentialing Time: Hospital privileges are required for this position, and the credentialing process is estimated to take approximately 30+ days.
