Locums – Minot, North Dakota, Medical Oncology Opening (Willing to License)
- Clinical Role:

- Start Date: February 10, 2025
- Contract Length: Minimum 6 months or locums to perm
- Shift Details: 3 weeks per month needed; will take candidates for a minimum of 1-2 weeks per person
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p; night and weekend call rotation
- Current open shifts:
- February 10th – February 21st
- March 3rd – March 14th
- March 31st – April 11th
- Support staff: Nurses, NP, therapists, support groups, developing triage nurse center, robust hospitalist program, imaging center is adjacent to the cancer center
- Patients per day: this varies; 10-15 new consults per week, 30-35 patients in infusion center per day, 50% of those are chemo, 18 bay infusion center with a couple of private rooms
- Patient population/age: 18+
- Department description: Oncology
- EMR: Cerner - use Aria platform (Aria - combine radiation, medical and surgical oncology information into a complete EMR that helps manage the patient’s entire journey)
- Hospital bed size: related hospital has 318 beds; clinic has 10 exam rooms
- Skills required: Chemotherapy, Biologic Therapy, Hormone Therapy. They do have a diverse population of cancers in their community so someone who has experience with many types would be highly preferred
- Practice Setting: Clinic - Cancer Center
- Board Certification Medical Oncology
- State license required: No
- DEA - Required
- BLS Required
- Minimum experience required: 2 years minimum, would prefer less than 15 years' experience
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days if licensed; 90 days minimum of obtaining ND license
