Medical Oncology Medical Director Opportunity in Astoria, OR Position Details - Provide patient care for hematologic and oncologic diseases in the community clinic setting in Astoria, OR. - Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and primary care providers to manage hematology and oncology patient care. - Lead the Cancer Committee (CoC), Breast and General Tumor Boards. - Serve on the core leadership team alongside the Administrative Director and Radiation Oncologist to direct Cancer Center programs. - Engage in administrative committees - Participate in regulatory surveys such as The Joint Commission, Planetree, and ACHC, as required. - Drive continuous improvement in oncology services safety, delivery, and value. - Support community projects, screenings, education, and oncology awareness events. - Optionally engage in public service consultations with non-university groups. - Participate in medical education for students and house staff, as desired. - Involvement in clinical, translational, and research activities, as desired.
