We are hiring a locum Physicist growing team in east Iowa for one day a week!
Job Details- Start: As soon as credentialed
- Schedule: One day per week (Wednesday) and possibly some PRN coverage
- Call rotation: 1:2 UNLESS it is for vacation coverage. Then they would be the only physicist.
- EMR: Aria used to record and verify. Eclipse and Tomoplan used for planning
- Cases: Medical Physicist provides safe therapeutic radiological physics to the Radiation Oncology Department; equipment safety, quality patient care and teaching in accordance with standards put forth by regulatory agencies and the medical community. Medical Physicist will participate in patient-specific QA, chart QA, linear accelerator QA, plan checks, and any additional support needed by our radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and therapists.
- Skills needed: skills in calibration and commissioning of linear accelerators and other radiation sources, perform quality assurance of equipment and treatment plans, and implementing new technologies as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in ABR or ABMP

- Hourly rate: $90/hr W2 and $105/hr 1099
