Coverage Needed

• December 2024 - October 2, 2025
• 2-3 locations

Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM with PRN
• Saturday: 8am - 2pm
• Call potential: 1 week at a time, Monday - Sunday
• Likely Christmas week will need to be covered by provider

Clinical Details

• Will see new & established medical oncology patients in a clinical setting
• Patients per day: 16-20
• Oversite of assigned patients receiving infusion
• Potential participation in assigned site specialization (will try to meet candidate's preference) tumor board and multi-disciplinary clinic
• Attend required provider orientation, training meetings, etc.
• Refer for clinical trials as appropriate
• Established patients, 80% Solid Tumor (mostly GI)
• GI tumor Board followed by Multi-Disciplinary Clinic, every other Friday

Requirements

• Board Certified Oncology
  • Hematology - Preferred
• 4+ years of experience
• Active NC License
• Must have immediate availability

Support Staff

• Physician support: 0.5 APP, 1 RN, 2 CNA's or MA's
• Clinic staff: nurse navigators, social workers, dieticians, genetic & financial counselors
