MUSC Health – Kershaw Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a passionate medical oncologist in their hospital located in Camden, SC. MUSC Health, you can enjoy collaboration with several subspecialties and the ability to be part of growing the program within the Midlands region. The medical center is supported by an extensive physician (employed and independent) network. Physicians in this clinical practice will work to coordinate patient care and manage the treatment of cancer diagnoses and hematology conditions in collaboration with providers in MUSC’s Division of Hematology & Oncology located at Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) in Charleston, SC.

This community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in Camden and the surrounding communities. Join a team of driven providers that is dedicated to making transformational cancer treatment more widely available to patients throughout South Carolina.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Completed an accredited Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in Hematology/Oncology

Opportunity Details:

  • With MUSC being the only NCI-designated cancer center and only comprehensive academic medical center, come join our Camden location.
  • Clinic 4 days/wk.
  • 16-20 patients per day.
  • Collaboration with the surgical department
  • Attend Tumor boards.
  • Chosen candidates will have oversight of APPs and can be involved in teaching as well as research if desired.
