A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a Director of Hematology Oncology for one of their facilities in Brooklyn.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic vision for patient-centered cancer care.
- Ensure evidence-based, high-quality cancer care in a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership.
- Require leadership experience in a community cancer center and experience with multidisciplinary teams.
- Dynamic, collaborative leadership style with strong organizational, communication, and program development skills.
- Support clinical and research missions.
- Develop and execute regional cancer care strategy, including clinical, patient experience, and financial metrics.
- Lead a patient-centered, multidisciplinary cancer care program.
- Expand patient base and range of services.
- Advocate for interdisciplinary clinical services.
- Diagnose and treat blood, bone marrow, vascular, and immune system disorders.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- Board Certified / Eligible
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. required with strong education and clinical care qualifications
- Leadership experience within a community cancer center
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary team
