New Hematologist/Oncologist Locums Job in Louisiana
Are you interested in working in a charming small-town atmosphere, with a vibrant local culture, and proximity to the scenic beauty of Louisiana's bayou country? We are working with a facility that is looking for locum oncology coverage starting in August.
Dates of coverage: Starting in August, looking for as close to full-time as possible. Ongoing position through 2024 with a high chance of extension.
Details/Requirements:
--90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
--50/50 Hem/Onc split
--Night or weekend call requirement: 1 week out of 4
--Must be Board Certified in Medical Oncology
--No procedures are required
--Patient types: Adult oncology and hematology - no transplants or acute leukemias are required
--Schedule and shift times: Monday-Friday clinic, flexible on clinic times, 8am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5pm
--Average patients per day: 15-20
--EMR system: Meditech for Hospital and Varian Manger for Oncology clinic
--Must have an active Louisiana license or ability to obtain through IMLC.
