Work Details:
• Support staff: 3 APPS, Nurses, patient care coordinator
• Patients per day: 14-16 patients per day/per provider. APP’s see hematology new consults and follow-up patients. Medical Oncologist sees new Oncology consultations and some follow ups. Avg 4 new cancer patients per day. 1—2 hospital consults.
• Patient population/age: 18yrs +
• EMR: Epic and Beacon (Required)
• Dept Description: Outpatient Oncology Clinic and Infusion Center
Skills required: 2 years’ experience as a Medical Oncologist. Also, for the timeframe of Aug 27 - Sept 6, must supervise 2 APPs in the outpatient clinic and 1 APP in the transfusion center. Supervision of chemotherapy administration would be the most complex part, but there are other infusion services being administered in our infusion center. .

Requirements:
• Board Certification: BC required Med Onc
• State license required: yes, will consider an active IMLC
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: 2 years’ experience as a Medical Oncologist
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days
