The position that I am sending you today is for on-going coverage in San Diego, CA see the details below.

The Occupational Medicine locum tenens assignment in San Diego, CA…

-Location: San Diego, CA (license required at time of application)

-Duration: Starting as soon as possible – 3+ months (at least 90 day commitment)

-Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5 or 5:30pm, will take 2-3 days per week as well

>First patient seen at 8am and last patient schedule at 4:15 pm, 1 hour lunch

-Patient volume: Average 18 per day (max 21 per day), 15 minute patient visit times

-Group: 5 MDs, 11 APPs (2 PAs to 1 MD at each site)

-Scope: Physicals, Employer based pre-placement exams, new injuries, acute visits workers comp

-Cases: Strains, pains, acute injuries, sore backs, foreign objects, and lacerations

-Urgent Care: separate building adjacent to occupational clinic (Full subspecialty referral patterns within network)

-EMR: Touchworks – All Scripts (Training provided)

-Prefers DOT Certified, but not required.

-Required: Occ Med experience, California license, BC or BE
