Job Description
Our client in Summit County, CO is in need of an Occupational Medicine Physician for a locum assignment!
Job details:
- Start - ASAP
- 8a-5p with an hour unpaid lunch (12p-1p)
- 6 shifts per month at Maximum and availability must be spread throughout the month, as cases are spread throughout the month.
- Setting: Clinic, Outpatient
- Days per month: 6
- Required Procedures: Level 2 workers comp cert, DOT physicals, impairment ratings, & m164
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: NP/PA, MA
- Reason for Coverage: Recruiting to replace a termed physician
- Dealbreakers: No work comp experience and not currently a level 2 certified provider. Dot examiner strongly preferred.
- EMR Required Training,
Job Requirements:
- Board Certified Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Orthopedic Surgery - Required
- Active CO license - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
- Active BLS - Required for credentialing
- Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
- Level 2 Certified - Required
- Candidates must detail the specific dates they are able to cover through May 31, 2025 - Required
- Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required
- Local, drive in candidates -Highly Preferred
- Clean MP/Background - Required
