Role: Physician Center Medical Director
Mission: Lead clinical and operational excellence in occupational medicine, driving quality care and workforce health improvement while mentoring teams.

Key Focus:

  • Balance direct patient care (80% clinical) with leadership and administrative duties (20%).

Job Responsibilities

* Provide 100% center-based patient care, mentoring staff and modeling clinical excellence.
* Partner with leadership to improve workflows, safety, and clinical outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with state regulations (MO Practice Act, WC, OSHA).
* Manage staffing adjustments and oversee drug/alcohol testing as needed.
* Build relationships with employers, payers, and community partners to drive growth.

Mentor clinicians and foster a culture of collaboration and recognition.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

* MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
* Active, unrestricted MO medical license and DEA license.
* Eligibility to participate in Medicare.

Preferred:

* Board certification in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, or related specialty.
* Experience in occupational medicine or urgent care (training provided for qualified candidates).

* Ability to handle sensitive information (HIPAA/PHI) securely.
* Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
No nights, weekends, holidays, or call.
