Role: Physician Medical Director
Location: Racine, WI
Mission: Lead clinical and operational excellence in occupational/urgent care while mentoring teams and improving workplace health outcomes.
Key Focus:

  • Blend direct patient care (80% clinical) with leadership and administrative duties (20%).

  • Drive quality care, compliance, and patient satisfaction in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Provide 100% center-based patient care, mentoring staff and modeling clinical excellence.
* Partner with leadership to improve workflows, safety, and clinical outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with state regulations (WI Practice Act, WC, OSHA).
* Manage staffing adjustments and oversee drug/alcohol testing as needed.
* Build relationships with employers, payers, and community partners to drive growth.
* Mentor clinicians and foster a culture of collaboration and recognition.
* Assist in financial planning and strategic initiatives for the center.

Qualifications

* MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
* Active, unrestricted WI medical license and DEA license.
* Eligibility to participate in Medicare.

Preferred:

* Board certification (Occupational Medicine or related specialty).
* 2+ years of clinical leadership experience.
* Occupational Medicine experience (training provided for qualified candidates).

Core Competencies:

* Leadership in mentoring, training, and developing clinical staff.
* Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and compliance skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive information (HIPAA/PHI) securely.

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

No nights, weekends, holidays, or call.
