Board Certified Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist

NORTH PHILADELPHIA AND SUBURBS, PENNSYLVANIA (USA). Jefferson Health North Division is seeking a full-time AP/CP board certified pathologist to provide community-based pathology services with tertiary academic support in North Philadelphia and its suburbs. Fellowship training (Cytopathology, Breast, or Gastrointestinal Pathology) and experience are preferred. Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively with others is required. Participation in several multidisciplinary conferences (i.e. Cancer Review Board, Breast Conference) is expected, and opportunities for teaching and collaborative research are available.

The candidate will join a team of seven pathologists who provide a full range of hospital-based anatomic and clinical pathology services at Jefferson Northeast (Torresdale, Frankford, and Bucks hospitals) and Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital. Together, they receive approximately 16,000 surgical specimens, 1,000 cytology specimens, and 300 FNA biopsies annually. Pathologist assistants, cytotechnologists, histotechnologists, and clinical laboratory staff provide outstanding support and expertise.
