Einstein Physicians Philadelphia is seeking to add a Hematologist/Oncologist to its urban academic medical center.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • MD or DO from an Accredited Program – Required
  • Completion of an Accredited Internal Medicine Residency – Required
  • Completion of an Accredited Hematology/Oncology Fellowship – Required
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology - Required
  • Appropriate License and Certifications Required

THE POSITION:

  • On-site Cancer Center that is ACOS and ACR certified
  • Joining a Practice of 6 Full Time Physicians, 1 Full-Time NPs, 6 Hem/Onc Fellows and multiple Support Staff across two campuses
  • We welcome Physicians with Special Interests in the Management of Hematological and Oncologic Diseases Such as but not Limited to: Anemias, Breast CancerCancer, Colon Cancer, Lung and Esophageal Cancer, Leukemia and Lymphoma, Prostate Cancer and Gynecologic Cancer.
  • Physician Will Have the Ability to Develop a Practice as a General Hematologist/Oncologist with a specialized focus
  • Prior Participation in the Oncology Care Model a Medicare Shared Savings Program and opportunities to participate in value based programs through the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center
  • Clinical Research Staff on Site
  • Diagnostic Imaging Center Modalities include CT scan, Nuclear Med, MRI, Digital XRAY, Ultrasound and nearby access to PET/CT imaging.
  • Regular Participation in Multiple Tumor Board Meetings with Colleagues and Encourage a System-Wide Dialogue to Ensure Comprehensive Patient Care.
  • IM Residents Rotate Through the Practice; Offering Additional Opportunities to Teach
  • Appointments Through Sidney Kimmel Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine
  • The Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Cancer Center is a Regional Research Site of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer, one of 57 NCI Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers
