Locum MD/DO Occupational Medicine need in Bakersfield, CA
Monday - Friday 8A - 5P
MUST be DOT certified and lives locally in Bakersfield, CA.
As a locum physician, you will be accountable for treating both scheduled and walk-in work-related injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient setting.
Looking for someone to start 11/6/23.
13 week contract to start.
Avg 2 patients per hour
Job Description: Diagnose and treat work-related injuries, perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for varied private companies and governmental agencies. Evaluate and treat UC patients on a walk-in basis. May oversee, collaborate with and supervise any advanced practice providers in the clinic. Perform in-office procedures, communicate with employers and provide medical guidance. Exhibit Orange Book characteristics including welcoming, skillful and respectful behaviors at all times. Completes all documentation in a timely and appropriate manner.
