The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a Faculty BE/BC Occupational and Environmental Medicine physician to join our region's leading program serving the beautiful communities of East Texas. Based out of Tyler, Texas, this role thrives in providing quality patient care, committee participation, and didactic training to residents and medical students. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment commensurate with their credentials.

The Health Science Center hosts:
- An established occupational health clinic that is a member of the Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics (AOEC) and that offers a broad range of occupational health services to workers, employers, and other clients from across the region as well as professional physician services at selected plant-based facilities;
- One of only two ACGME-accredited occupational medicine residency programs in Texas and U.S. Public Health Region 6, and is partially supported through a NIOSH Training Project Grant as well as CMMS capped GME positions;
- A newly established public health/general preventive medicine residency in a sister Department of Preventive Medicine and Population Health;
- A robust portfolio of grants, contracts, and research initiatives in related occupational, environmental, and public health disciplines (e.g., occupational respiratory diseases).This includes the NIOSH-supported Southwest Center for Agricultural Health, Injury Prevention, and Education.
Minimum Requirements:
- ABPM board certified or eligible in occupational & environmental medicine
- Experienced and graduating Occupational Medicine physicians are encouraged to apply!
