AdventHealth Medical Group in Sebring is seeking to employ a dynamic Certified Nurse Midwife to join our growing team. Team comprised of OBGYNs, APRNs, Family Medicine OBs as well as community OBGYNs and CNMs. We're the only facility to deliver in 8 counties (approximately 65 mile radius). Currently we are delivering around 100 babies a month in the hospital.

Ideal candidate should expect:

• Highly collaborative work environment along with mentoring Family Medicine residents and 3rd/4th year medical students
• Mentoring and practice onboarding- we’re invested in your success
• Clinical and nursing team appreciative of midwifery care
• To see patients in the office including both maternity and gynecology care
• To cover labor and delivery call, including OB triage and deliveries
• Equally distributed call rotation, holidays and weekends, and office template
• Schedule/Staff that demand work/life balance
• Deliveries at only 1 hospital, AH Sebring

Ideal candidate should have:

• 2+ years’ experience as midwife in hospital setting
• Care for patients using evidence-based medicine with a focus on patient safety and patient satisfaction
• Ability to perform (or desire to learn) office procedures

Education, Licensure, and Certification Required:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing with Midwifery Certification
• Three years of experience as RN preferred
• Certification of Nurse Midwifery (CNM) program accredited by American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM)
