Join a full time laborist program as part of our commitment to maintain an excellent level of safety on labor & delivery and a better quality of life for our physicians. We have the only Level III NICU in the area and a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist on staff. We are immensely proud of our recent Healthgrades 5-Star designation for our L&D unit for both vaginal deliveries and C Sections.

• A full-time position would comprise 7 24-hour shifts per month in any combination of 12- or 24-hour shifts as the primary laborist in house.
  
• Back-up coverage can be taken off-campus.
• All shifts are in-house and coverage includes L&D, ER consults, inpatient consults, emergency GYN surgery, and returning answering service calls from patients during nights and weekends.
• Full time is considered 14 12h shifts in a 28-day block in any combination (i.e. 7 24h shifts).
• L&D unit does 75-90 deliveries per month, or approximately 1000 per year. Most but not all are done by the laborist group.
• Emergent GYN surgery such as laparoscopy for ectopic pregnancy or suction D&C are possible but infrequent.
• Epic build is in process with planned launch in March 2025.
• Benefits package is available starting at 0.5 FTE and cost depends on number of contracted shifts per block.
• Employed or per diem. Independent contractor role considered.

• Premier OB/Gyn & Midwifery practice with OB/GYN physicians, CNMs and Advanced Practice Providers
• 3.5 generalist OB/GYNs and 4 laborists. 2 laborists are full time and 2 per diem
• 8 labor and delivery rooms and a 20 private room postpartum unit
• Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
