CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital is a 404-bed acute care facility offering a complete range of services including trauma care and emergency medical services, routine and specialized medical and surgical care. They provide the only NICU in the Tyler area as well as maternal and child care, advanced neurological, orthopedic, cardiac care to name a few.
Tyler is the principal city of the Tyler Metropolitan Statistical Area, with a population of roughly 210,000. It is located in northeast Texas, about 100 miles southeast of Dallas. Tyler is known as the "Rose Capital of the World" due to its history of large rose production, cultivation and processing, along with hosting America's largest rose garden. The city is home to the largest rose garden in the United States with 500 varieties, an annual Texas Rose Festival attracting tourists by the thousands each year and more than20,000 college students and a variety of tech startups.
OBHG began in 2006 and leads the industry in developing and managing in-house OB/GYN hospitalist programs. We strive to make care safer for moms and babies while helping our physicians find a work/life balance. Our OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction. This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time.
