- PRN Position
- Annual deliveries: 1,800
- Level II NICU
- High risk obstetrics training and experience required
- OB/GYN Hospitalist experience preferred
Schedule:
- 24-hour in-house OB Hospitalist shifts
Responsibilities include:
- Delivery room
- Triage
- OB ED
- Full-spectrum OBGYN Hospitalist work
- Extended service agreement for private community
- Covering GYN emergencies

Annual Births/Deliveries: 1800 APP Support: No EMR, Charting, Dictation: Cerner/MediMobile Shift Responsibilities and Procedures: Unassigned deliveries, OBED, ED (gyn, ectopic pregnancies, etc), extended services agreements for community OB PICU/NICU Level II Procedures Required: Vaginal deliveries, c-sections, ectopic pregnancy treatment, etc. OB Hospitalist Services. DOPs dictate 25 gyn procedures in last 12 months with 5 major abdominal cases and 50 deliveries in last 12 months with 5 c-sections Shift Coverage Model: 24/7 Shift times: 8:00a - 8:00a Call Required: Yes 24/7 in-house Weekend Required: Yes 24/7 in-house Minimum number of shifts per month: 7-8 Additional Details: To be eligible to apply for core privileges in obstetrics and gynecology, the initial applicant must meet the following criteria: Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)– or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)–accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Required previous experience: Applicants for initial appointment must be able to demonstrate at least 50 deliveries (to include at least 5 C-Sections) in the past 12 months and the performance of at least 25 gynecological surgical procedures (to include at least 5 major abdominal cases), reflective of the scope of privileges requested in the past 12 months or demonstrate successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency, clinical fellowship, or research in a clinical setting within the past 12 months.Jupiter, Florida is located in Palm Beach County just 15 miles north of West Palm Beach, FL.
