DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY AND WOMEN’S HEALTH

THE POSITION:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is seeking an individual to join our Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. The full-time faculty position is for Assistant or Associate Professor with rank and compensation to be determined commensurate to qualifications and experience.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Einstein/Montefiore provides care to a rich patient mix from a spectrum of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds in Southern Westchester and New York City area. All Ob/Gyn sub-specialties are represented in the Department including a Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Fellowship, with 2 fellows per year.

The Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility division at Einstein/Montefiore offers the full range of REI subspecialty services. Emphasis is given to clinical practice with academic responsibilities to teach medical students, residents, and fellows in assisted reproduction, IVF, reproductive endocrinology, and gynecologic surgery. Primary clinical responsibilities would be participation in all the clinical activities of the Division of REI at the Montefiore’s Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Health and affiliated sites.

THE CANDIDATE:

The faculty member would be expected to deliver excellent care to patients while growing and expanding access for REI services throughout the Montefiore REI practices.

Candidates should Board Certified/Board Eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology, and be eligible for an active New York license. Third year fellows graduating in June 2021 are also encouraged to apply.

This position would be ideally suited for those who wish to pursue a career in academic medicine, with a strong emphasis on clinical practice.

Academic rank to be determined commensurate with experience.
