Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology - Lancaster, PA Coverage Need

Position Details Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology Provider Type: Physician Practice Setting: Outpatient Call Type: In-House Admissions Required: Yes EMR System: Cerner Temporary Privileges: Yes Patients Per Shift: 18-20 Beds in Department: 12 Call Responsibilities: Call Only Phone Consults: 3 Patients Seen During Call: 4 Admissions During Call: 1 Delivery monthly 20 office about 20 patients 24 hour call - between 8-4 some patients scheduled in office during the call Call In-House Submissions Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible Licensed in PA only Clean History PALS Must practice both Obstetrics and Gynecology, be able to perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and GYN surgical procedures, Circumcisions Must be able to round on patients if on call - in house, on call coverage Skill Requirements Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE OB ultrasounds (performance and interpretation) - Level I/Screening (viability) - Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Amniocentesis Routine delivery - Vaginal - Low forceps - Decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery - C-section - Breech - Multiple births - Abruptions - VBACs Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) Surgical gynecology - Open procedures - Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only (tubal ligation, LOAs, chromopertubation) - Operative/major (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs) Laser certification
