Job Opportunity: Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Join our dedicated team at a well-respected facility in McMinnville, Oregon, where you can make a significant impact on patient care. Our facility offers a supportive environment and is equipped with a MediTech EMR system. You will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecological care and will have the flexibility of call-only coverage as part of our locum tenens program. The current coverage extends through March, with updates on further openings available by mid-January.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecological care.
• Manage call coverage, with a call ratio of 1:3.
• Respond to beeper calls within a response time of 20 minutes.
• Conduct patient encounters averaging 1-2 per shift.
• Offer phone consultations as needed, averaging 3-4 per day.
• Participate in department restructuring initiatives as necessary.
• Utilize the MediTech EMR system for patient documentation.
• Perform rounding for assigned patients.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (eligible candidates also considered).
• Valid physician license.
• Strong clinical skills in managing obstetric and gynecological cases.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active physician license (temporary privileges available).
• Board certification or eligibility required.
