Locum - OB/GYN: Obstetrics and Gynecology - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN

Summary: Join a dedicated team at a reputable healthcare facility in West Valley City, Utah. The hospital is seeking OB/GYN practitioners for call coverage needs, providing a supportive environment for both outpatient and inpatient care. The practice specializes in general OB/GYN procedures and offers an opportunity for growth while working in a clinic trauma level III setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide call coverage for OB/GYN needs at two concurrent locations.
• Perform general OB/GYN procedures and manage patient care across treatments.
• Participate in a 24-hour call schedule with a shared workload among locum providers.
• Collaborate with support staff, including nurses, to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) using Epic software.
• Complete required training and comply with EMR procedures prior to start date.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency completion).
• Active Utah medical license is highly preferred.
• Certification in BLS or PALS and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required for credentialing.
• Active DEA registration is required for credentialing.
• Experience with Epic EMR is advantageous.
• Candidates must provide availability for call shifts as outlined.
• Clean malpractice history and background checks are highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification OB/GYN (Required or Truly BE).
• Active UT License (Highly Preferred).
• Active BLS/PALS certification.
• Active CSR and DEA required for credentialing.
