Exciting Opportunity for a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician in Richmond, VA
Join a well-respected healthcare system in the vibrant city of Richmond, Virginia! This opportunity invites a PT or FT Board Eligible/Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to become a part of a dynamic practice at a flagship hospital within a comprehensive health care network. St. Mary’s Hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality care and is known for its advanced NICU services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Open to part-time with guaranteed hours (NO Per Diem) or full-time candidates.
- Work in an outpatient practice setting with consult-only services.
- Coverage needed to fill a new position; desired start date is as soon as credentialed.
- Conduct outpatient clinics, consults, and a limited range of inpatient procedures at two hospitals.
- No deliveries required.
- Join a 2+ physician Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice.
- Enjoy two clinic locations supported by Nurse Practitioners.
- Perform minimal procedures, including cerclages and in-office amniocentesis.
- Access to Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs covered by Pediatrix-affiliated neonatologists and NNPs.
- Opportunities available for a full range of employment roles, including Medical Director.
- Utilize Viewpoint and EPIC systems for efficient practice management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required).
- Board Eligible (1-5 years from residency, working toward BC) or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine (Required).
- Fellowship-trained in MFM (to be completed prior to start; Required).
- Virginia license (or willing to obtain; Required).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain; Required).
- Clean malpractice and license history (Required).
- At least 1 year of MFM work experience (not including fellowship; Preferred).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Certification in OB/GYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be obtained prior to start).
