- Schedule: 24-hour call shifts from 7 am to 7 am
- Specific Dates: June 15-30, July 15-31, Aug 15-31, Sept 15-30, Oct 15-31, Nov 15-30, Dec 15-31
- Duration: Stretches of at least 7 days/month
Clinical Details
- Setting: Clinic and Inpatient Call
- Required Procedures: All OB/GYN procedures
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: Lab Tech, LPN/LVN, MA, X-ray Tech, RN, CRNAs, and midwives
- Working in clinic during the week seeing ob/gyn patients for new obstetrics, established obstetrics, new gynecology issues, and surgical consultations
- Surgical blocks are twice per week for non-emergent surgeries
- Shifts include all obstetrics as well as emergency gynecology and obstetric cases
- Census: Patient population, Adult, Adolescent; Number of beds, 10; Admissions, Clinic 16-25; inpatient 3-6
- Facility has back-up with skilled general surgeons & urologist
- Births per year: 600 per year, 50 per month
- Day census: Clinic is 3.5 days a week & 2 half OR days, No robot
- Number of surgeries typically scheduled per week for OR days: 4-6 per week
Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (0-5 years post-residency)
- Active Kansas license - Highly Preferred
- Active BLS
- Active DEA (will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked)
- Clean malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
- Procedure logs (Hysterectomies - 5 min, C-section - 5 min, Deliveries - 50 min within the past 24 months)
- Cannot consider candidates wishing to do clinic only
- Unable to consider FMOBs at this time
