One Staff Locums has a client seeking an OBGYN for 24 hour call coverage.
Job Responsibilities
-Duties: ED OB labor and delivery call coverage- for drop in's from the ED
-Required Procedures: vag delivery, emergency C-Section, Gyn emergency surgery
-EMR: Paragon
-Support Staff: Hospitalist (medicine) not OB, Pediatricians
-Clinic or call coverage? Call coverage
-Patient Volume? Number of deliveries? 15-25 deliveries a month
-What is your NICU level? Level I
-Any high-risk patients? Where do you ship if they don’t have high-risk? Yes and no prenatal care; ship to Women's Hospital of Texas
-Any support staff? Do you utilize Midwives? Pediatricians, No
-Any case Logs requirements for C-Sections or deliveries? Yes, 10 case logs
-What does orientation/training look like? Department tour OR/L&D, Paragon training, badges
- Is there in-house anes? MFM support? No in-house (oncall), MFM support (via telephone)
Qualifications
TX License in Hand Required
100% Clean Malpractice, Licensure, and Background Required
