Locums OB/GYN Need in Texas

Coverage Needed:

• April 10, 2025 - ongoing
• Schedule: 24-hour shifts from 7a-7a
• Specific Dates:
  • April: 4/10(7a)-14(7a), 4/25(7a)-28(7a)
  • May: 5/9(7a)-12(7a), 5/23(7a)-26(7a)
  • June: 6/13(7a)-16(7a), 6/27(7a)-30(7a)
  • July: 7/10(7a)-14(7a), 7/25-28(7a)

Clinical Details:

• ED OB labor and delivery call coverage for drop-ins from the ED
• Required Procedures: vag delivery, emergency C-Section, Gyn emergency surgery
• EMR: Paragon
• Support Staff: Hospitalist (medicine) not OB, Pediatricians
• Number of deliveries: 15-25 deliveries a month
• NICU Level I
• No in-house anesthesiology (oncall), MFM support (via telephone)

Requirements:

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Active TX license
• OB/GYN Fellowship
• BLS/ACLS
• Clean Malpractice
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• 10 case logs for C-Sections or deliveries
