OBGYN Hospitalist Physician Locums Jobin Colorado| Beginning April 2025 | Assignment #108222
Schedule: Part-time coverage with approximately 12 shifts a month
Details:
-Hospital shifts will vary between 12 or 24 hours
-There is no call and no clinic
-Cover trauma for OBGYN in the ED
-Estimated 1-2 patients in a 24 hour shift
-Locum can see both OB and GYN patients
-There are approximately 1,400 deliveries a year
-Types of cases/procedures: include high-risk OB, C-sections, D & C's, ovarian torsions, etc.
-Expected to manage obstetric patients Anesthesia, neonatal and perinatal support - there is a group that helps neonatologists
-There are midwives who deliver their own babies when they can, if not, then the OB Hospitalists deliver them
-There are surgical assists available within Banner
Requirements:
-Must be Board Certified
-Must have an active Colorado license or an active IMLC
