Call is shared with a group of laborists and generalists. No in office clinics for this position. Shifts will be assigned for days, nights and weekends.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide in-house call coverage at a stroke-certified, Level 1 trauma facility.
- Manage labor and delivery patients, including high-risk obstetric cases.
- Collaborate with laborists, generalists, and hospital staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform emergency obstetric procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Active medical license in Indiana or IMLC
- Prior experience in a hospital-based laborist role preferred.
- Proficiency in managing high-risk obstetric cases and emergency procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.

Working Hours

- In-house call coverage only (no in-office clinics).
- Shifts include days, nights, and weekends.
- Call schedule is shared among laborists and generalists.

Skills

- Expertise in labor and delivery management, including high-risk obstetrics.
- Proficiency in emergency obstetric procedures, such as C-sections and operative deliveries.
- Strong clinical decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
