  • Other Details: The facility which is trauma level 3 and PEDs level 2 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. One weekend of call coverage is needed per month from Friday morning to Monday morning, with a preference for the fourth weekend of each month. There is potential for coverage to increase in the coming months. The department consists of four physicians and four midwives, managing approximately 1,100 deliveries in 2024.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide weekend call coverage from Friday morning to Monday morning, with a preference for the fourth weekend of each month.
- Manage labor and delivery cases, including high-risk pregnancies.
- Collaborate with a team of physicians and midwives to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and perform necessary interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Adapt to increasing patient volume due to hospital closures and diversions.
